We offer free, telephone-based listening, support, referral, seniors reassurance call-out and crisis assistance (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) by trained staff and volunteers. All calls are confidential. Unless requesting emergency services, you do not need to identify yourself or give any information which might identify your location.

DISTRESS LINE
Call to connect to a caring, empathic listener. We help support people who are lonely, confused, in distress about their circumstances and need someone to talk to.
TELECHECK
Available to residents of Dufferin County only.
Extra reassurance for older adults and their families by providing long-term or short-term daily contact. TeleCheck is both a security call to ensure that the person is not in need of assistance and a social call.
